Hiking Cerro Chame
360° over the Pacific
Cerro Chame is one of the area's most popular hikes. At approximately 300 meters altitude, the moderate-to-hard trail rewards you with 360° panoramic views spanning the Pacific, the gulf islands and the inland valley.
You can drive on your own to the base of the hill (15 minutes from Playa Caracol). The trail is well-marked but has no shade, so it's essential to start early (6-7 a.m.) and bring plenty of water.
