Taborcillo Island (John Wayne Island)

Taborcillo Island, known as John Wayne Island, is a small private island in the Gulf of Panama that once belonged to the legendary Hollywood actor. Today it's an accessible destination from Punta Chame, with white-sand beaches and turquoise waters ideal for snorkeling.

You can arrange boat transport from Punta Chame (20 minutes). Bring your own snorkel gear, food and water. The island is small but perfect for spending a day with family surrounded by marine nature.
